The College |
Hawabagh Women’s College, Jabalpur is a pioneer institute for the higher education of women in India. Established in 1928, the college is affiliated to Rani Durgawati Vishwavidyalaya (R.D.V.V.) Jabalpur. The College is not only known for its high academic achievements but has groomed its students for an all round personality development. Co-curricular and cultural activities, sports. N.S.S., adult education enhance the overall development of the students who seek admission here and endeavor to make them good citizens of our country The College tirelessly works to fulfill its motto “Send out thy light".
The college which is a Christian institution of higher education in Madhya Pradesh has risen to its present status through steady progress with blessings and cooperation of the Methodist Church leader and well wishers in and out of the country and able guidance of its principals. It is proudly mentioned here that the students of this College are placed all over the country serving the Society as Doctors, Nurses, Lawyers, Teachers, Scientists, TV/Radio announcers and Officers in religious and secular organizations. |

Presently the following branches are included in the course of instruction: viz B.A., B.Sc., B.Com, B.Ed., M.Ed., M.Sc. & M.A., Professional Courses like Computer Science, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Electronics etc are included in the B.Sc. course while communicative English and Computer Application subjects are included in B.A. and B.Com respectively. |

in India, established by the women’s division of missionaries (America) in
the year 1929 with an objective of ensuring upliftment of women.
